Officials at the Wisconsin State Fair filled their two remaining headliner slots for the Time Warner Cable Main Stage today and the theme was immediately evident:
Flashback Friday.
On Friday, Aug. 7, the Fair welcomes a heavy metal triple bill featuring bands popular in the 1980's and '90's, Jackyl, Dokken and Slaughter. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday and will cost $30, $20 and $10.
The '80's theme continues the following Friday, Aug. 14, when Rick Springfield takes the stage. Springfield, famous for a string of hits and an appearance on the soap opera "General Hospital," will be oined by singer-songwriter-actress Tyler Hilton of the show "One Tree Hill." Hilton played Elvis Presley in the movie "Walk the Line." His fans will know the hits "When It Comes" and "How Love Should Be." Tickets for Springfield's show go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday and will cost $30, $20 and $10.
Tickets are available at wistatefair.com or the box office, which is located at the U.S Cellular Main Gate. Tickets to Main State concerts do not include admission to the Fair.
The Fair runs August 6-16. Here is a look at the Main Stage lineup:

Dokken - RHYMES WITH ROCKIN'! hehe.. I still remember that promo from Peaches/Mainstream Records. I still couldn't tell you any of their songs as I never listened to them. I think the promo soured me.
