The taps are flowing again at Bar Louie's Downtown location.
The Common Council, which forced the Water Street tavern to close because of a paperwork snafu, interrupted its recess and approved the liquor license for the establishment Tuesday morning.
Without the reprieve, which was spearheaded by Ald. Bob Bauman, the bar would have been closed until early next month and its 90 employees would have been out of work.
