As OnMilwaukee.com gets ready to host its fourth annual Bartender Olympics, you can prepare to cheer on the competition by familiarizing yourself with future Milwaukee Bar Olympians.

We've been profiling the participating bartenders over the last two weeks in preparation for the big night at Wherehouse on Thursday, March 1.

Cheer on your favorite bartender while they compete in four events, including the Pabst can stack, timed drink order, karaoke and the cocktail contest. Special guests include 102.1's Kramp and Adler.

The event is free and features drink specials like $3 Dr. Fireball and Hornitos cocktails, $4 Absolut, Malibu, OR-G, Jim Beam and Red Stag Cocktails, $2 Pabst Tall Boys and free samples of Party Armor.

Plus, 2Cents and OnMilwaukee.com teamed up create a special Bar Month printed edition, which will be available at the event.

Here's a quick Q & A with bartender Corinne Leach from the Horny Goat Hideaway:

OnMilwaukee.com: How long have you been tending bar?

Corinne Leach: Six years.

OMC: What's your favorite Milwaukee bar (other than the one where you work)?

CL: I love all the local Bay View bars, especially Blackbird, but I usually find myself at The Standard Friday nights after my shift.

OMC: What's the most important tool behind the bar?

CL: The bartender, of course! We can make or break your experience, so don't be rude and tip nicely!

OMC: What's your favorite brunch spot?

CL: Comet! It is just a great spot to relax with a group of friends.

OMC: What's your favorite special or promotion at your bar or a bar you frequent?

CL: All-you-can-drink bloodies and mimosas for $15 Saturdays and Sundays at Horny Goat. If I weren't working those shifts I would be taking advantage of that deal for sure! We also are the only bar I know of that make beer mojitos. Yum, yum!

OMC: Have you served anyone famous? If so, did they tip well?

CL: I used to bartend at Rain nightclub and the Bucks would come in, but I didn't take care of them personally. They always sat in VIP.

OMC: What drink are you making for Bartender Olympics?

CL: The drink I came up with is called the Coconut Rum Russian (for lack of a better name).

Coconut Rum Russian
In a highball, pour:
One and one-quarter ounces Malibu Black
Three-quarter ounce Frangelico
Splash of cream
Box pour
Float about a half ounce Chambord on top
