Drink Wisconsinbly Pub

This young Walker's Point joint opened just two years ago, and for the past two years it's claimed the title of Milwaukee's best pub – though this time it edged out timeless tavern Wolski's by just five votes.

Surely, locals love the fact that Drink Wisconsinbly Pub has a classic Milwaukee bar vibe, but with a modern, updated style – kitschy-but-cool and Dairy State authentic. That it's located in the heart of one of the hottest neighborhoods in Brew City doesn't hurt, nor does the SoulBoxer Old Fashioneds bubbler tap. The food menu features fried cheese curds, old Bavarian-style pretzel, sausages and more; to drink there are multiple local-themed cocktails and an impressive craft beer list.

As for OnMilwaukee's editors, they chose Nomad, the inimitable, Brady Street staple.
