"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee.com is back for another round! The whole month of February, we're serving up intoxicatingly fun articles on bars and clubs -- including guides, the latest trends, rapid bar reviews and more. Grab a designated driver and dive in!

The votes are in and the winners have been selected for OnMilwaukee's Best: Bars & Clubs, 2010. Find readers' results in 50 categories, including an editors' pick, in this series of articles that run daily in the Bars and Clubs section of OnMilwaukee.com.

The Wicked Hop might just be the perfect spot for a Third Ward happy hour. In the warm months, there's plenty of outdoor seating under the huge metal awning and plenty of people-watching, yet, at 345 N. Broadway, it's enough off the trodden path of Water Street to still feel calm and relaxing after a long day at the office.

The prices ain't bad, either. Happy hour, Monday through Thursday, from 3 to 7 p.m., features $1 off all beer, rail mixed drinks and $5 glasses of wine.

So, what else makes this bar a winner? According to OnMilwaukee.com food writer Amy Schubert, "It's the animated, lively staff, the cocktails, the seemingly omnipotent televisions airing hot sporting events, and a who's who of Third Wardians, who seem to know everyone else's name."

Plus, have you had a Bloody Mary there? They come packed like a meal -- beef stick, shrimp, blue cheese stuffed green olive, marinated mushroom and piles of mozzarella cheese that took the shape of thick Japanese noodles. Not a bad deal for $6.

With a vast menu of both pub food and upscale items, it's a nice place to grab a meal on the weekends, and with the help of the adjoining Jackalope Lounj, it's good for some live music, as well.
