OnMilwaukee.com reported in early May that Black Sheep, 216 S. 2nd St., in Walker's Point, will open late this summer.

The small-plate upscale bar and restaurant unveiled its new website today. Blacksheepmke.com offers a sign-up list for those interest in getting easy updates. Also announced is the bar's new logo, hand-drawn in a custom font to reflect the turn-of-the-century building the bar will occupy.

Black Sheep will offer an eonomatic wine system with a rotating selection of 12 unique bottles to be tapped from a self-serve dispensing system. Patrons can choose from 2-, 6- and 8-ounce wine pours to encourage sampling and pairings. The wine selection will consist of boutique, small-production wines.

The menu will feature "casual yet inventive" food selections, including "microbites" (appetizer-size selections), plates to share, salads and desserts. The interior decor of the bar will include exposed brick walls, original wood flooring and a soaring beadboard ceiling.
