Buffalo Water Beer Bar at Public Market closes
After a little more than a year, Buffalo Water Beer Bar at the Milwaukee Public Market has closed.
Owned and operated by Bridget Viohl and Craig Peterson, the small beer bar and beer sampling space was across from Rupena's Fine Foods and the West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe.
No word yet on how the market may use the vacant space.

Just want to clear up a couple things from Milwaukee Brewing Co. To start with, we don't brew Horny Goat. Yes, we do brew Big Bay and Buffalo Water but they have their own recipes and are different companies. Lastly, we hope you guys come on a tour so you can try our beer and learn more about us. Cheers, and have a great weekend!

If I'm not mistaken Big Bay, Horny Goat, and Buffalo Water are all brewed by The Milwaukee Brewing Company. None of those beers are any good especially when they are stacked up against places like Sprecher and Lakefront and countless other microbrews. Milwaukee Brewing Co. Beers appeal to people who like Miller Lite, but want to think they have a more refined taste

alba, i completely agree with the spirit of your comment, but there is nothing clever within 'horny goat'.

This is really too bad. Buffalo Water's slogan "Slam a Blond Tonight" was such a great Milwaukee slogan. It's really too bad that the tourists and out of town guests who visit the Milwaukee Market will no longer think that Milwaukee is full of thick headed frat boys who enjoy crappy beer.
