At today's License Committee meeting the city approved some changes to North Avenue's bar lineup.
A new club called Decible (sic) is going to replace the soon-to-be-former Mantra Lounge at 1905 E. North Ave., beneath Beans & Barely. Stay tuned to OMC for more details as they surface.
Jacques French Café closed on July 30 to move from its original spot at 1101 S. 2nd St. to its new location, 1022 S. 1st St. When it re-opens this Friday, Jan. 26 as the new Chez Jacques, it will do so with notable Milwaukee chef Michel Koenig (former Hilton exec chef; first Mo's steakhouse head chef) running the kitchen.
Chez Jacques features a similar menu as the original, adding dinner options as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
