According to Fink's co-owner, Scott Johnson, a new patio is underway at the East Side cocktail lounge. Johnson believes it will be finished by mid-July.

The spacious patio will feature a variety of seating, lighting and a fire pit in the fall and spring.

"But mostly, it's a comfortable, light and chill place to meet friends for a drink outdoors," says Johnson. "Customers will get the feeling of being inside a familiarly shaped structure, without the confines of a roof or walls."

Rinka Chung architects created the design.

Fink's, 1875 N. Humboldt Ave., opened in 2013. Prior to that, it was Redroom Lounge.
