In the summer months, the air is our friend, and drinking outdoors is the way to go. But in winter, another element, fire, becomes our best drinking buddy, and toasting -- or getting toasted -- in front of a fireplace is perfect on a blustery night.

College_Dave, it was the Public Natatorium (sp?) and it was VERY cool, but pretty pricey for its day. Wonder what ever happened to the building?

Is there any place that has a fireplace behind the bar kinda like Bryant's has the big fishtank? Btw, what was that place on the south side called that once housed a dolphin tank? I heard that was pretty cool until the health dept put the kibosh on it.
