Heels Martini Lounge, an upscale cocktail lounge, will open on Wednesday, May 15, in the Astor Hotel, 920 E. Juneau Ave.

The space was formerly a small banquet hall. Drink specials, including $2 martinis for anyone in heels, will be available. Heels will also offer a small plate menu.

"It's a classy environment," says Dave Bowen, the Astor's events manager. "It's a modernized 1920s room that maintains Old World Charm."
