La Cage Niteclub, 801 S. 2nd St., went into foreclosure and a public auction was scheduled for March 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the Milwaukee County Safety Building, 821 W. State St.

However, according to owner Michael Jost, the auction was called off earlier today after making a substantial payment.

"After having been closed for some time in December due to some patrons' behavioral issues, we had a bit of an issue playing catch-up due to loss of revenue, but we have since recovered," says Jost. "The auction has been cancelled."
