The Phoenix suburb of Scottsdale is one of the more affluent cities in the US. If you take a drive down Main Street on a sun-dappled afternoon you'll see luxury cars, $500,000 condos, touristy shops and a slew of art galleries selling modern and Southwestern-influenced art.

Oh, and if you look closely, you'll see a Packers bar.

That's right.

Tucked in the middle of the galleries at 7018 E. Main St. sits Mabel Murphy's, an eclectic (read: dive) bar that proudly proclaims its green and gold pride. The walls are covered with pennants, photos and newspaper clippings devoted to the Packers.

During spring training this year, the bar drew a steady stream of Brewers fans heading in and out of nearby Scottsdale Stadium (home of the San Francisco Giants) as well as customers interested in watching Marquette and Wisconsin play in the NCAA Tournament.

"On football Sundays, this place is wall-to-wall Packers fans," proclaims Scott, a Wisconsin native who lives a few miles north. "Everybody drinks and has a good time. It's a great place to hang out. You almost feel like you're in Green Bay -- except that everybody wears shorts and T-shirts and it's 75 degrees outside."

Mabel Murphy's, which also has a location in Oshkosh, may look like a typical Wisconsin bar (the menu features a fish fry and cheese curds), but it warms up for Packers Sundays by turning into a hip-hop club on Saturday night. The cover is $15 and customers line up around the block to dance amid a lone disco ball, a few mirrors and pictures of Brett Favre, Bart Starr and other Packer legends.

With help from Packers.com and the fan site southendzone.com, we compiled a list of other Packers-centric bars across the country. Use the Talkback feature to add others.
