This morning, it was announced Red, White & Blue, a new 800-capacity country bar, will open in the currently closed Buckhead Saloon space at 1044 N. Old World 3rd St.

The new bar – brought together by Mike Zimmerman and the Dehne Brothers, who together own and operate The Rock Sports Complex in Franklin, as well as Upper 90 and The Pub Club in Downtown – will open to the public with a New Years Eve party and then an official grand opening in early January.

"Buckhead Saloon was a legend in Milwaukee nightlife so we had big shoes to fill, we put together an amazing new concept that will appeal to the casual country music fan as well as any type of live music fan," said Jake Dehne in a release. "We will offer American-made entertainment by providing an entertainment venue that is inspired by the modern day cowboy/cowgirl and serving up live music and a DJ several nights a week."

"We saw what was missing on Old World 3rd Street and took what was successful in the past and put it together with a rustic décor," added Seth Dehne in the release. "We made the space a little smaller, but went vertical in adding a huge mezzanine that you just have to see, it’s amazing."

Red, White & Blue will feature live music on Wednesdays in the form of an open mic, a DJ on Thursdays and a combination of live local music performances and a DJ on Fridays and Saturdays. In addition, the new bar will include a Downtown studio for 94.5 KTI Country to deliver live broadcasts.

The bar will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m., as well as Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. To reserve tickets to Red, White & Blue's upcoming opening New Years Eve bash, visit its website
