Sunday Sound-off: Sworn-off drinks

"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee.com is back for another round! The whole month of February, we're serving up intoxicatingly fun articles on bars and clubs -- including guides, the latest trends, rapid bar reviews and more. Grab a designated driver and dive in!

We've all got our favorites. Be it a favorite watering hole, event, cocktail or beer brand, you've spent the last month telling us about your what you love most.

As we say farewell to Bar Month 2010, we'd like to know which drink you've sworn off -- for whatever reason.

Maybe there's a particular brand of beer that left you "incapacitated" for a day or so; perhaps a certain drink just doesn't rub you the right way or, like many others before you, you may have had a "disagreement" with Mr. Daniels or Mr. Jaeger.

Whatever the story, we'd like to know: what have you sworn off?

Well back in day Whiskey Sours were big......and mixed with the bubbly on New Years makes for a bad mix of airplane fuel. Haven't touched whiskey since, but the bubbly... thats another story!! and to comment on that yummy looking tequila picture above. My favorite drink!!!!! On the rocks, maybe with a little lime......a good one aged in oak, (and that's not patron folks.

I swear off nothing - that would be quitting and I'm not a quitter. For my girlfriend - Irish car bombs have cause self induced black eyes (gotta be careful for the corners of sinks) while praying to the Kohler gods. So safe to say - St. Patty's day for her will involve nothing of the sort.....
