"Bar Month" at OnMilwaukee.com is back for another round! The whole month of February, we're serving up intoxicatingly fun bars and club articles -- including guides, bartender profiles, drink recipes and even a little Brew City bar history. Cheers!

It's the age-old question among beer drinkers: what's your favorite way to drink it? Everyone has their own reasons for preferring a bar's beer from the tap, in a bottle or in a can.

We took the question to Bay View Bowl, 2416 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., during league night last Wednesday night (editor's note: the author is in that league, too).

Bay View Bowl's owner, Mike Kosinski, says he sells about the same amount of beer on draught as he does in bottles and cans. "It's about 50-50 between can or bottles and taps," he says, and the most popular individual order is a tapper of Miller Lite.

Here's what 14 thirsty bowlers had to say. Weigh in with your preference using the Talkback feature below.

Rich Babcock: Tap
"It's the best tasting."

Bob Bandkowski: Can
"I like the way it tastes. It's better when it comes out of a can."

Jake Case: Tap
"It depends on how cold the tap is. If the tap is cold enough and it's running well, I prefer tap every time."

Derek Chimielewski: Bottle
"It tastes fresher."

Steve Cvikel: Bottle
"It tastes better, and it's cooler to drink out of a bottle."

Ryan Dimond: Bottle
"I think it tastes better."

Jason Hildreth: Bottle or can
"You don't really know how clean the tappers are at certain places, such as the Landmark, let's say."

Mike Koskinski: Bottle
"Because of the carbonation, I believe. I know it's not because of the line cleaning, because I clean them once a week. I don't like the taste of tap beer, I don't know why.

Chris Milbrath: Both
"I prefer taps with my imports and bottles with my domestics."

Carl Muccio: Bottle
"Usually, some of the establishments I go to don't clean their lines as often as they should."

Chris Schafer: Green bottles
"Something about green bottles. Anything I can get in a green bottle, I can never go wrong with, really."

Daniel Story: Bottle or can
"I like them better. They're easier to drink, and they stay colder."

Bob Szukalski: Bottle
"Always bottle if I've got a choice. It just seems to taste better out of a bottle."

Jim Ulrich: Tap
"I like the taste of tap beer better."
