Description [edit]
The Milwaukee location of this Madison Irish pub and restaurant opened in the rehabbed space that formerly house the 5 and 10 Tap. Dinner is served and there's a weekend brunch, too.

It's open daily from 3:30 p.m. and has an authentic Irish pub look and feel.

I am VERY disappointed in the downward spiral of this new place ... when it first opened, we had nothing but GREAT things to say about it. My husband and I were recently married and had our bachelor and bachelorette parties there this past June and everything went smoothly. In a matter of a few weeks, the place went to hell. I'm embarrassed to recommend it to anyone. I went there 2 weeks ago for lunch and I think the chef left to go kill the cow for my burger. RIDICULOUS. We were there in business attire on our lunch break, so you'd assume the server would have known we couldn't be around there for 2 hours. Last night, we went there for drinks around 11 pm. We sat on the patio and waited and waited. There were 3 servers and none of them approached us. Even the MANAGER saw us sitting there with no drinks while he helped the band (of 3 men) clean up their equipment. Last week, a friend of ours had the WORST service ever. He asked for the fish fry and got it back about 45 minutes later. I don't know what happened, but it will be a long while before we go there again ... maybe some of the reviews their getting on this site will encourage them to hire intelligent, customer-service-oriented wait-staff, oh and a manager who cares if customers leave upset.

Very long wait to be seated. We arrived at 7p.m. and were told a 45 min wait. After 50 min we were told another 20 min. Needless to say we weren't seated until 8:30. Another 10 min wait at the table for the server to acknowledge out existence. When the server finally arrived at our table he rattled off the specials so fast and appeared quite rushed. While waiting for table, and visibily annoyed, we were never offered a free drink. We spoke with the mgt. about the fact if the hostess would have been up front with us at the beginning we probably would have ate at the bar. The atmosphere was good. There appear to be some good items on the menu but by the time we were seated and eventually ate, the couple pints of Guiness had already taken care of our appetites. We both had the fish fry that I will have to say was quite good, along with the Scotch Egg as an appetizer. I was pondering trying the Crab Cake but at $12.00 for just one I passed. With drinks, dinner and tip our final total came to almost $100.00 exactly. Quite expensive for a Friday Night Fish Fry. If going there we highly suggest making a reservation, something we never thought of doing before hand.

Five women visited on Friday night. Food (salmon, salad) was good however the website boasted $5 glasses of wine as a special. We asked the waitress about the $5 glasses of wine. She said the special was not available and that they hadn't found time to revise the website. We had considered other restaurants for the evening but the website special helped seal the deal. We suggest either keeping your website updated or honoring the specials you advertise.

The food was excellent. Each of the four of us had a different entre and appreciated the variety and serving style. Good sounding Irish names but clearly would appeal to anyone who thinks out of the box. White bean ragout and Swiss chard came w/my Wild Salmon. Great dinner and delightful efficient service. Busy, crowded, Friday night and a wee bit too loud. But will certainly to back.
