Wow have no idea what the dance floor guy is talking about. Ive been in there 3 times now for a cocktail and 1 time is was soft jazz with about 20 people all over 50 another time 10 people talking in lounge chairs and another time on a Saturday night where was a laid back acoustic music session. Maybe those people are coming from a different bar that wreck the neighborhood

The Hamilton is a sophisticated destination that was well thought out and draws a terrific class of customers. This facility will enhance downtown, the eastside and the formerly trendy Third Ward. The owner knows the business, takes care of her clients, and the surrounding neighborhood. The banquet space will be top on all planner's list!!

The Hamilton is definitely not a dance club- it is a wine/cocktail lounge. Quiet music, great drinks, and good conversation. I would not want to live next to any bar, but if I had to live next to a bar, it would be this one.

I have been in several times; soft jazz, quiet conversation, lovely atmosphere. Owners are nice people doing a fine job. There is no dance floor, no disco ball. Wonderful place.

Despite what posted description the Hamilton is nestled in a previously quiet neighborhood that fought the licensing for The Hamilton. Instead of a quiet bar, it is a dance bar with loud music that disrupts the lives of the families surrounding it. Be a responsible person and find a better and more suitable place to celebrate. Don't be a neighborhood wrecker.
