An election worth waiting for
There are lines at nearly every polling location, but I have to say, from what I've heard, they aren't as bad as I imagined. At least not yet.

Performance art at the polls
If you plan to vote later today, it's possible you'll see free performances by nationally recognized performance artists. The performances -- which range from original music to dance to video -- will take place at 11 different polling places throughout the city.

Getting out the early vote
I'm rarely ahead of the pack on fashion trends, but I'm the first person I know to have donned the coveted "I Voted' sticker this election season. That's because on Friday, I decided to vote via absentee ballot.

Riverwest votes!
I was relieved to see 204 people voted before us -- and it was only 9 a.m. Hopefully Riverwest will live up to its politically-active reputation, and will do its part to pull the pendulum towards "No."
