Angelic Bakehouse – formerly known as Cybros The Sprouted Bakehouse – will break ground at the site of its new $2.3 million production facility in Cudahy tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m.

The site is located at 3275 E. Layton Ave., and Cudahy's mayor, John Hohenfeldt, along with Angelic Bakehouse CEO Jenny Marino and other dignitaries will be present.

Angelic Bakehouse is a family-owned business with a facility in Waukesha, and plans to relocate to the new 22,000-square foot building in the fall. The new facility will help the family-owned business meet the growing demand for its sprouted grain products including breads, buns, rolls, pizza dough and specialty items.

The company is the only producer in the central U.S. of fresh, sprouted grain products.

"It’s been a rollercoaster of excitement these past few months," said Marino. "From changing our company name to starting the construction of a new facility, we have received tremendous consumer response to our product and are thrilled to have Cudahy as our new home. We’re ready to start the next chapter of our business history here and we only see more delicious things in our future."

Menomonee Falls-based Wahlgren-Schwenn Inc. designed the building and will provide construction management for the project.
