After years of planning, The Center for Well-Rounded Maternity Care will open in Menomonee Falls at N88 W16733 Main St.
The center will provide women with an alternative to hospital births, with an emphasis on natural childbirth. Cedarburg's Coal Slavin, PhD., is the driving force behind this progressive venture.
Birthing centers are popular throughout the United States, and Wisconsin finally offers safe, alternative birth options in a supportive environment with the opening of this center.
The center also offers fitness and yoga, breastfeeding support, counseling services, doulas, post-partum help and more.
Slavin is also the chairperson for the CARE Network.
