The BoDeans, have signed a one-record deal with Milwaukee's Back Porch/Narada Records and will release "Homebrewed: Live from the Pabst" on Aug. 16. The two-CD set was recorded on December 31, 2004 at the Pabst Theater and will be the band's second live recording. "Joe Dirt Car" sold more than 200,000 copies in 1995.
"Homebrewed" features several songs from the band's latest release "Resolution" and many of their signature songs including "Closer to Free" and "Fadeaway."
The band plays Summerfest on July 8 and plans a nationwide tour for late summer, after the new disc is released.
