Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, neighborhood Ald. Nik Kovac and Milwaukee Public Library Director Paula Kiely will break ground on the new East Library, Tuesday, July 30 at 1:30 p.m.

Brett Haney and Ryan Schultz, owners of HSI Properties, LLC, will also be on hand for the ceremonial turning of the dirt of The Standard @ East Library development, at 1910 E. North Ave., that will include 99 apartments and a new 16,000-square foot public library at street level.
