Fashion and dining take over the town beginning tonight with the city's first "Fashion Industry Night" at Moct, 240 E. Pittsburgh Ave. in the Fifth Ward/Walker's Point.
Every Wednesday, Sweetface Productions will feature different emerging fashion designers, networking, shopping discounts, a beauty bar and contests for everyone.
Geared to the boutiques, designers, make-up artists, hair stylists and models of Milwaukee, these Wednesday night gatherings are open to everyone.
Fashion not your thing? Maybe eating is.
The second annual Downtown Dining Week begins tomorrow, Thursday. No passes, coupons or cards are needed for this popular event. Simply dine at one of 30 participating restaurants and select from a special three-course menu.
At just $10 for lunch and $20 for dinner, it's a darn good deal and an easy way to check out many of the new places in the Downtown neighborhood.
