It's true: Fritz's on Second, 804 S. 2nd St., is for sale. According to owner Michael M. Fritz it has been on the market for two months and he is collecting offers.
"There are two groups that are definite possibilities but I'm going to wait until the end of the weekend to decide. At least two more groups are walking through," says the 37-year-old who opened the pub 13 years ago.
Fritz, who also owns Fat Daddy's, 120 W. National Ave., says he's ready to focus on one space.
"I'm feeling spread very thin," he says.
Last August, fire destroyed the second floor of Fat Daddy's, which was an apartment at the time. Fritz has since renovated the space for commercial use, and will offer patrons a second floor with a full kitchen and a deck overlooking the volleyball pits.
"We might even make a rooftop deck," he says.
