Tonight's Jazz in the Park with Gary Christensen and the All-Star Superband Cathedral Park is canceled, says East Town Association executive director Kate Borders. Borders cited, obvioulsy, the weather but reminds everyone that the East Town Market is still on for Saturday (it runs through October).
The rains have canceled two consecutive weeks (including last night's scheduled gig with Daryl Stuermer) of River Rhythms on the other side of the Milwaukee River at Pere Marquette Park.
Jazz in the Park continues, though, every Thursday through September. River Rhythms (Wednesday nights) ends September 5.
OnMilwaukee.com is a proud sponsor of both Jazz in the Park and River Rhythms.
