On June 14, Milwaukee Harley-Davidson will host "KruegsFest," an event that will honor Wisconsin native, Sgt. Amy Krueger, who was killed in the 2009 Ft. Hood shooting.

Located at 11310 W. Silver Spring Rd. in Milwaukee, the dealership will raise funds for The Fisher House and area veteran groups with the event that will run from 5 to 10 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

On Nov. 5, 2009, Sgt.  Krueger was one of 12 soldiers and one civilian killed in a shooting at Fort Hood, TX.

The event will feature three bands, each of which includes a Krueger family member. Bands playing include SugarNova, featuring her cousins Dave Howell and Curtis Voigt, Consult the Briefcase with cousin Shaun Krueger, and The Charlie Bucket Band with uncle Dan Krueger.

There will be festival food, an outdoor bar, 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction. Attendees will have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes from local restaurants, retailers and Milwaukee Harley-Davidson.
