    The former Lava Java, 1100 S. 1st St., is transforming into Marchese's Olive Pit.

    Olive Pit will feature classic Italian and specialty pizzas, Alterra coffee and a full bar. The new space is owned by Gina Marchese and according to the Web site will "open soon."
