Everyone loves a feel good animal story.
News out of Big Lake, Alaska is that a three day old moose calf that was found Wednesday with its umbilical cord still hanging from its belly is headed to the Milwaukee County Zoo.
According to reports, the Alaska Department of Fish and Game worked with the Alaska Zoo to arranged the adoption.
The family that found the moose named the female calf "Robin." According to the Associated Press it will stay at the Alaska Zoo for about a month until arrangements are complete for a transfer.
