Milwaukee Press Club nomination for's Jim Owczarski has been honored yet again for his work covering Wisconsin sports. It was announced on Friday that Owczarski has been nominated for a Milwaukee Press Club award for his September article "Portrait in perseverance: Mike Fiers' road to the majors."

This announcement comes just a few weeks after Owczarski's story "Who is Montaous Walton?" was selected by the Associated Press Sports Editors (APSE) as one of the top national investigative stories for sports in 2012.

This is the seventh award for Owczarski, who previously captured honors in feature writing, breaking news, project writing and explanatory writing before joining last year.

The winners of the Milwaukee Press Club award will be revealed at the club's Gridiron Awards Dinner at the InterContinental Hotel.
