Hello, my fellow Milwaukeeans! My name is Pamela Kieck, and I’m so excited to be joining the OnMilwaukee team as a fashion columnist. It has always been a dream of mine to have my own column ever since I spent my weekends binge watching "Sex in the City" in college, so this is totally dream come true.

A little about myself – I was born and raised in Milwaukee and absolutely love to call this city my home. Growing up, I had a passion for fashion but I was always curvier than most models I would see. I wanted to make it my mission to show fashion for all shapes, sizes and styles.

In 2014, I started a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog called It’s Pamela Kieck, which I am still the content creator for to this date. What started as a fun hobby turned into a side business, and I was able to collab and work with some amazing companies, brands and people. In 2015, I started hosting fashion and beauty segments on FOX 6, and now you can see me as the beauty expert on "Real Milwaukee." In 2017, I was named a Vogue Influencer and apart of the Cosmopolitan Social Patrol.

I currently reside in the south suburbs of Milwaukee with my two fur babies, Cooper and Winston, where I have room just for shoes and a bar cart fully stocked with red wine.

Now, enough about me, on to what everyone is wondering about: the COLUMN!

I’m so excited to be able to use this platform to showcase all of the great and fashionable things in Milwaukee. This great city has some fabulously dressed residents, amazing boutiques and some super talented people in the local fashion industry. I will use this column to show fashion that is for everyone, so whether you are a size 0 or a 26, there will be something here to inspire you!

1. The look for less

Ever see an outfit on a celebrity or on the runway and wish you could afford it? Well, this part will be doing just that! I will be taking looks from celebs and recreating them with affordable items that you can find right here in Milwaukee.

2. OOTD (Outfit of the Day)

This will be an extension of my blog, showing you some great outfit ideas and where you can buy the items.

3. Street style

I love being Downtown and seeing all the great outfits locals have on. Well, with this, I will be on the hunt for the best dressed in Milwaukee, showing off your look and interviewing you about your fashion inspiration. So make sure you are always looking fabulous 'cause you never know where I will pop up looking for the Most Stylish Milwaukeean of the Month.

 4. Trend forecasting

Want to know what the latest trends will be for the season? This will be a must read for all Milwaukee fashionistas.

5. Fashion event coverage

I will bring behind-the-scenes coverage from all the hot Milwaukee fashion events, including Milwaukee Fashion Week. Plus I will be doing some special style posts from the runways of New York Fashion Week.
