The Pfister opens the search for its new Narrator
Milwaukee's historic Pfister Hotel has started looking for its next Pfister Narrator, an in-house storyteller who will chronicle stories from the hotel's visitors.
Over the course of six months starting May 1, the new Pfister Narrator will spend a minimum of 10 hours per week in the hotel's lobby, interviewing guests and visitors and sharing their stories through the hotel's blog.
He or she will receive $1,000 per month in the form of payment, a scholarship or a charity donation in his or her name. The Pfister will also provide complimentary parking and meals in the hotel's cafeteria.
Applicants can download an application form from the Pfister Narrator webpage. Completed forms, plus a current resume, two or three recent writing samples, a cover letter and two professional letters of recommendation should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 1.
