After being in business for less than two years, Q Real American Food -- located in Bay View at 2258 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. -- will close for good on Sunday, May 14. The West Allis restaurant, 6425 W. Greenfield Ave., will remain open.
According to a Q employee, the Bay View Q is closing because, "We just weren't making it in Bay View."

bayview res said: I think it was the location. You would never know it was there. LuLu's has the sign and people sitting in the window eating. Q did not have much curb appeal to let passers-by know they were there.

Herbivore said: "I am a proud supporter of any restaurant that offers no vegetarian options. Humans are omnivores, and vegans/vegetarians are just self-centered, unhappy freaks." You'll be wishing you had chosen some tofu in a few years when you are on cholesterol medication, high blood pressure medication, fiber pills, etc. Veganism is the healthiest diet out there. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it is. Don't you ever read or watch tv? Meat and dairy are bad for you- vegetables are not.
