This may sound like a silly Sound-off question, but since OnMilwaukee.com is celebrating Green Month, we thought it was appropriate to ask.

In many countries, daily showering is not the norm, although here it seems most people take a daily wash down.

Recent findings report that water conservation is not just a problem in the Southwest anymore, and it's become a national focus. According to the General Accounting Office in this country, 36 states will face a water shortage by 2012.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you shower every day, and if you do, would you be willing to cut back to every other day to save money and resources? Sound off, Milwaukee!

I shower every day and it's staying that way. I understand the reasoning behind not showering every day, but showering is important to my morning routine. It helps me wake up and I simply feel fresher and more prepared for my day after a shower. I could possibly try to take shorter showers -- or get a more eco-friendly showerhead -- but there's no way I could completely eliminate my daily shower.

I do not shower everyday. I don't shower every day, and it's easy to get used to. It saves money on my water bill and doesn't dry out my skin and hair so much. Showering every day is simply not necessary and not good for the future of our environment.
