Interestingly, Christmas and Hanukkah fall on the same day this year, which means that regardless of your holiday of choice, the need to shop at some point in the next few weeks is imminent. That said, are there enough places to scout out the perfect gifts, or do you need to travel to other cities -- or shop in cyberspace -- to cross names off of your list?
E-mail us at soundoff@staff.onmilwaukee.com and if picked, we'll post your response next Sunday. Only submissions that include your full name and where you live will be considered.
Last week's question: What is there to do on Christmas in Milwaukee if you don't celebrate it?
I am a lucky one who hasn't anyone to buy presents for because my husband and I have not exchanged gifts since the first Christmas. So lucky us. We usually stay home, have a nice dinner and have some movies to watch. We save gas and money that way.

I do celebrate Christmas, but it's also my best and oldest friend's birthday. I always take him out here or travel to see him in San Francisco to take him out there, just so he's not neglected. Let's not forget movies and bars -- the best ways to escape on Christmas!

I usually eat at one of those Greek restaurants and order a movie. Then, around 5 p.m. I start calling friends and see who's up for a Christmas night drunk fest.

It's a tradition that dates back more than 3,000 years. Jewish people go out for Chinese food on Christmas Eve.

Cozen Beguile said: Jessica- Shh! Don't tell no one! LMAO! The next shop will be in BF on Bluemound. Just so you know, I'm not involved with this business! It's part of my giving back, what I owe Milwaukee. Bringing people together. For Milwaukee this time and not me. I'm implementing my cozen tactics(flatter for self gain) to reel the fish downtown and many other places! I have the perfect lake that I already put the bait in months ago. Now we just have to wait for the fish to come out of their holes, meet up at the bait and bump into each other. Kind of like ..."You got your chocolate in my peanutbutter"! LMAO! Now I'm in a good mood, even though I'm giving up tens of thousands! New crumb for you! (I'm not involved) Hee, Hee!...a store is leaving the Grand early next year. Don't worry, its replacement will be better and MIGHT draw 2 more cool places with it! I have bait in that lake as well. Location, Location, Location! PEACE!
