For better or for worse, Milwaukee summer festivals and cover bands go together like brats and beer. Local cover bands like The Love Monkeys, U2Zoo and The Boogie Men draw huge crowds and inspire notoriously motionless Milwaukeeans to get up and dance.
Although a fair share of folks complain about cover bands, they remain a staple of outdoor summer entertainment. Perhaps it's because cover bands provide a shared experience among the audience, and for some people, it's easier to connect with music when it's a song they've heard many times before -- especially if it reminds them of a fun, past experience.
In any case, Milwaukee has scores of cover bands, but we want to know which one is your favorite? Below is a list of 10 of the most popular Brew City cover bands, but feel free to plug one not on the list by using the Talkback feature.

Some great bands on the list but you're missing one of the best up and coming cover bands in the area: Rocky Mountain Beaver Pond. They light it up...and how do you miss heavy hitters Mt. Olive and rockers Fat Bottom Special?
