It seems like Summerfest has become a love / hate event. Some people cannot wait until it gets here and -- despite a little beer in the shoe -- they love every minute of it. Other folks feel very differently, and complain about the music lineups, the crowds and the drunkenness.

All 11 days, baby. If I didn't have to pay for my tickets, beer or food -- and I had a lot of time off from work -- I would definitely enjoy going to the Big Gig every day of its run. There is at least one musical act I would like to see every day. Plus, it's the best time of year in Milwaukee, and it's so much fun to be a part of it.

11 days? No way. I have absolutely no desire to attend Summerfest this much. It would get really boring, annoying and could possibly make me despise humanity for a long time. Once or twice, maybe, but Summerfest for almost a dozen days? No, thanks.
