Downtown residents who miss New World Wine Co. have reason to smile as Vintage, a wine shop, will replace the closed New World Wine location at 632 E. Ogden Ave.
Owner John Edwards runs another location by the same name in Germantown inside the Village Plaza shopping center. According to a gmtoday story on him, he has been in the wine and spirits industry for much of his life.

Building owners at the second New World Wine space on Water St. in the Historic Third Ward continue to search for a replacement tenant and, according to one industry source, have talked to "several possibilities."
