Young Professionals of Milwaukee (YPM), a service of the MMAC, launches a new event called "Art Mob" on Feb. 3 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts' Uihlein Hall.

The group invites its members and those of the Greater Milwaukee Committee (GMC) to experience the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's "Gypsy Fire" performance and pre- and post-event receptions. It's YPM's version of a Flash Mob and an idea that the group borrowed from a similar group called Forum 35 in Baton Rouge, La.

Tickets for the event are $15. Call (414) 287-4158 with questions.

Also, YPM will hold the first event at Milwaukee Street's new Japanese and Korean restaurant and lounge, Saketumi, during its "Around Town" on Feb. 10. OMC has been inside the new place several times, and owner Omar Shaikh told us and YPM members that he'll be ready for the Feb. 10 event, plus other mid-February VIP grand opening events. Stay tuned to OMC for the official general public opening day for Saketumi.

    YPM's Web site is: ypm.mmac.org/

OMC is a founding corporate member of YPM.

Connie said: I'm going to have to agree with Tricia and Mike on this one. Sake Tumi was not at all impressive. Service was horrific. A good restaurant has to have great food, but you've got to have outstanding service as well. I ordered a drink before I even viewed the menu and I never got my drink by the time appetizers arrived. I must have asked for it 3x. I wish I would have liked it, but I have to give this experience a big thumbs down.

Karen Delmonico said: Tricia, why do insist on crying so much. If you do not like the place, don't go back. I have been there literally twice a week for the last two months and have NEVER had any of the problems you are speaking of. Sounds to me like you need a man in your life :)

Tricia said: I've been to Saketumi three times now, and each time I have wanted to give it another chance, but I have unfortunately been very disappointed. The first time I dined there, I ordered three different entress in a row that they were out of. When finally deciding on an entree I didn't even want, I asked for a glass of wine that they were also out of. (It was only 7 on a Fri night) The next time, the service was soooo bad. The rest of my friends had their food for 30 minutes before I got mine. The worst part was that the waitress seemed to think nothing of it and never apologized or said anything for that matter. I couldn't even believe it. My third worst experience was calling ahead to make sure they were open, rushed down there with what was to be a 1/2 hour to spare before they closed the kitchen, only to find out when I got there that they said they stopped serving half and hour before that. We decided to sit at the bar then and at least have a drink. While they frantically cleaned around us, no one offered us anything or would even look in our direction so that we could order a drink, so we left. I am not impressed.
