Published: April 30, 2009 - 11:28 a.m. - Eric "Red" Schafer's dream of going to medical school has been delayed while he pursues a career in mixed martial arts. The 31-year-old Fond du Lac native, who trains and coaches at the Duke Roufus Academy in Wauwatosa, isn't ready to give up yet. "It's not the smartest career move I chose, but it's fun," Schafer said. "I'm addicted to it. I can't stop yet."

18. Admirals' scavenger hunt builds team chemistry
Published: Oct. 31, 2008 - 05:05 a.m. - Getting more than two dozen hockey players acclimated to each other and the city they will call home for at least the next six months is no easy task. To accomplish those feats, Admirals president Jon Greenberg and head coach Lane Lambert brainstormed with OnMilwaukee.com and sent the team on a scavenger hunt. The results were hilarious.

His is among the best I've ever tasted, and I have to admit that my own copy-cat version has been known to impress the occasional dinner guest.
