Craft beer isn't just for drinking. Like wine, it also makes a fine addition to your cooking repertoire.

On Thursday, May 1, spend an evening with Chef Neil Steuer of Superior Culinary Center as he teaches you how to prepare a delicious 3-course meal featuring Sprecher beer and soda at Sprecher Brewing Company, 701 W. Glendale Ave.

During this hands-on class, American Culinary Federation member Chef Steuer will review proper knife skills and give all attendees important professional tips for braising, sautéing, marinating and saving time in the kitchen.

When the time comes to sit down for dinner, you'll enjoy All American Pale Ale Antipasti, featuring marinated seasonal fresh vegetables and mozzarella cheese; Special Amber chicken schnitzel with braised cabbage and avocado;  and ginger ale berries flambe served over Orange Dream pound cake.

Cost for this event is $40 per person and includes a Sprecher Brewery tour upon arrival and a coupon for a future cooking class at Superior Culinary Center ($59 value).

Doors open at 5:00 p.m., with tours beginning at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required. Call 414-964-2739 to secure your spot.
