Backstreet Cafe
2566 Sun Valley Dr. #6, Delafield, (262) 646-3663
Tucked away in a strip mall right off Hwy. 83 in Delafield, Backstreet Cafe is a bite you'd probably never eat unless someone sent you on over. So, here's your invitation.
Backstreet Cafe is a classic sandwich stop. Thick foccacia, whole grain, sourdough or classic white breads are topped with heaping piles of meats, veggies and cheeses. The atmosphere is casual and quaint; orders are placed at a walk up counter.
The cafe menu offers a long list of hot and cold sandwiches, salads and main entrees. Glass cases are filled with fresh bakery and beverage options range from typical soda and coffee to wine and beer.
Menu: Sandwiches and salads
Price: Inexpensive.
When to go: Like any sandwich shop, this is a lunch spot. Open daily at 11 a.m., stop in over your lunch hour or grab a late snack after shopping in downtown Delafield.
Dress: There are no rules here. Anything from jeans and tennis shoes to suits and formal wear are welcome.
Don't miss: You'll be satisfied with the hearty goodness of anyone of Backstreet's sandwiches. Don't miss the thick whole grain bread and made-to-order hot paninis. Oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip cookies are a must.
Parking: Parking is available in the lot right out front.
