Think all Bar Louie's are the same? Try again. Stop by the Milwaukee location of this national chain for local deals and dinner steals. Offering burgers at cheap prices, check out Bar Louie on Tuesdays for dollar burgers and Sunday's for six sliders for $9. There's also a location in Bayshore Town Center.

Every Monday, Elsa's switches it up and offers the Gary Stein Chicken Monday Menu. Known for its pork sandwiches, wings and nachos, the Gary Stein menu swaps pork for chicken and offers a list of Monday only sandwiches. All served with a huge chicken breast, preparation options include Elsa's Chicken, grilled in dragon sauce with pecans, peppers and honey mustard, or the AZ88, tossed in buffalo sauce, celery and blue cheese. With 10 options in all, you can mix it up every Monday.

Leff's Lucky Town may be the city's king for offering a deal on dinner. Almost every night of the week, Leff's lures diners and drinkers alike to try out its tasty bar eats while downing Miller products. Specials include build your own burger ($3.50) Meat Cake Monday, 40-cent wings on Tuesdays, cheap tacos and nachos all Wednesday long and 75-cent sliders or chicken strips on Thursdays.

McBob's

If you've lived in Milwaukee long enough, you've heard about the legendary McBob's tacos. An Irish bar, usually serving the traditional corn beef and potato fair, McBob's goes south of the border several days a week to offer giant tacos. On Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday McBob's serves up huge, 10-inch flour tortillas filled with beef or chicken, cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce, sour cream and salsa for just $3.50. One warning, don't request a fork.

how about getting wings on any other night other than a wing night? i am guessing you won't be waiting for 3 hours...unless the $.35 is the draw.

O'Brien's & Leff's both offer tasty, cost-efficient, food deals. And they do awesome business. All other similar west side bars should do the same... and promote.

Oh...you missed O'Brien's on 50th & Vliet. A special every day of the week and a cheap, excellent brunch menu on both Saturday & Sunday. Tuesday night's $1.00 sliders w/a Smithwick's or a Guiness can't be beat!
