This morning, The Bartolotta Restaurants broke ground on its new project at The Mayfair Collection at Highway 45 and West Burleigh Street.

The project will include a central kitchen surrounded by three different dining concepts: a tavern, a French café and a fast-casual restaurant.

The upscale tavern will serve pub-style fare and feature an extensive list of beers and bourbons. Intended to be a gathering place, the restaurant will include TVs for watching sporting events, an outdoor patio and an open space for outdoor games.

Reminiscent of a classic Parisian street café, the French concept will feature a zinc bar, raw bar and rotisserie, with a menu including classic French favorites like onion soup, salade niçoise and escargot. The café will be open for lunch and dinner and offer outdoor seating during the warm-weather months.

The group has also named a fourth restaurant at the Mayfair Collection — Osgood's.

Osgood's will be family friendly – a stand-alone restaurant in the style of a hot dog stand with a double drive-through, serving burgers, Italian beef, salads and custard.

The Mayfair Collection's first phase opened early last year, anchored by Nordstrom Rack. Its second phase includes the restaurants, hotel, a Whole Foods and a Pizza Man restaurant.

All four Bartolotta's restaurants are slated to open in fall 2015.
