The Sauk City-based chain has grown from humble beginnings as a Wisconsin-based chain to offering butter burgers and custard all across the United States. Today, Culver's has more than 400 locations.

My kid thinks Culver's is the only restaurant on earth. Now while this might not be the best thing, it has had some good consequences. He won't eat McDonald's, Burger King, or any other chain offerings because they aren't as good. We find the food consistently tasty, the service consistently outstanding, and the atmosphere consistently family-oriented, clean and pleasant. They have NEVER gotten an order wrong. And we go there a LOT--because of the kid.
I don't understand the appeal of Speed Queen. The food is average, the employees were always cold and the place is filthy.
Kopps used to be "fast food".......................now it take 15-20 to get your order!
