For the sixth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2012."

Your votes are in, Milwaukee, and you have selected the winners of OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2012. We're announcing the results of this readers' poll, including our editors' pick, in a series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.

There was no question about it this year: Blue's Egg was chosen by an overwhelming majority of the vote as Milwaukee's Best Brunch by OnMilwaukee.com readers.

The breakfast-and-lunch hotspot, located at 317 N. 76th St., boasts an eclectic menu blending Old World traditions with New World innovation. Creamy polenta, ratatouille, curry tofu sandwiches and house chicken chorizo are all part of Executive Chef Joseph Muench's repertoire – but Blue's also offers all the beloved standards, including a delicious monkey bread and daily coffee cake.

Blue's Egg previously won Best New Restaurant in OnMilwaukee.com's 2010 poll and Best Breakfast in 2011.

During the month of October Blue's Egg will donate $1 for every order of the daily Egg Plate to AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin.

Last year's winner Comet Cafe maintained a strong showing, coming in second this time around.

Meanwhile, OnMilwaukee.com editors showed some love for last year's Best New Restaurant Cafe Benelux and named it this year's Editor's Pick.
