The votes are in and the winners have been selected for OnMilwaukee's Best: Eat & Drink, 2007. The results of this readers' poll, including an editors' pick, are available in this series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.
While on the inside, Trocadero strives to offer a slice of the City of Light, with its faux Metro passage, its lovely murals, delicious cheese and the zinc bar, out back, Trocadero is a patio lover's dream.
Trocadero offers a year-round (heated when necessary) patio -- a spacious terrace with a fountain, and private, shady gardens that make you wish Wisconsin weather was more accommodating to dining al fresco (heat lamps don't cut it in a snow storm).
In Paris, sitting outdoors means being crammed in between pedestrians and traffic -- everyone facing the sidewalk for maximum view -- at the Troc the patio has an often tranquil vibe, since there are few passersby to gawk at.
