The votes are in, and the winners have been selected for OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2010. The results of this readers' poll, including an editors' pick, are available in this series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.

Harbor House, 550 N. Harbor Dr., is one of a few privately-owned restaurants on the lakefront and offers an extremely unique view. This new Bartolotta seafood restaurant opened in mid-July and OnMilwaukee.com readers already declared it to have the finest view in the city.

Formerly Pieces of Eight and Harbor 550, Harbor House was completely remodeled into a "Cape Cod"-style restaurant, and diners, whether seated indoors or out, enjoy a full view of Lake Michigan.

This year, because of the mid-season opening, guests were served drinks on the deck, but not meals. Next year, however, guests will be invited to eat on the patio, as well.

Milwaukee has multiple restaurants with fantastic views, but really, how can an eatery compete with the view of a Great Lake? Apparently, it can’t.
