CiCi's Pizza Buffet opens today in West Allis

Wisconsin's first CiCi's Pizza Buffet opened today at 2927 S. 108th St. in West Allis. CiCi's is based in Dallas and has more than 600 locations.

The Cici's West Allis location on Highway 100 is located in the former Johnny V's and Panchero's spaces in the Shoppes on 100 strip mall.

In other regional chain news, the state's first location from Chicago-based Francesca's Restaurant opens next Wednesday, July 7 in Madison.

Founded by chef Scott Harris in 1992, Francesca's Madison spot will be a 4,700-square foot restaurant on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, just off Capitol Square.

The chain also is looking to expand to the greater Milwaukee area.
