No, the name isn't changing and neither is the color scheme of the modern lounge at the InterContinental Hotel, 139 E. Kilbourn Ave., in Downtown Milwaukee.
But with the arrival of its unique in Milwaukee "Chocolat Bar," patrons will be seeing a lot of sumptuous, tempting brown at Clear.
Chocolat Bar, located in the Clear lobby, has a two-page menu. And I don't mean one of those giant-font, four-items-to-a-page kind of menus.
No, this Friday- and Saturday-only affair -- and then only from 7 p.m. until midnight, boasts nearly a dozen handcrafted truffles, a half-dozen dipped-in-chocolate pops, praline bon bons, gateaux and tarts, cordials served in chocolate cups, chocolate coffee drinks and chocolate cocktails.
This amazing bar -- especially for a sweet-tooth like myself -- was created by Kil@wat Chef Robert Ash along with Pastry Chef Kurt Fogle of Milwaukee's Cholive gourmet chocolatier.
Did I mention it also features a chocolate foundue fountain?
What's next, a chocolate spa? If so, sign me up!

Cholives and Chruffles are where its at. Those chocolates are so naughty and yummy. Seriously if you've never tried them (and you call yourself a chocolate lover!?) you absolutely must do it.
